Please read this!

To my wonderful customers (new or returning) please read the following.

Once I send your parcel please understand that it’s out of my control as to how long it will be until you receive it. I have been getting orders posted within 1-2 working days in most cases. As of March 30th I will only be going to the post office twice a week on a Monday and Thursday. Please understand that I live around 25 kms return trip from town, and I’m trying to limit my trips out. Australia Post is also currently experiencing some big delays in delivering parcels.
Also if you want to be able to track your items once I post, please ask for tracked satchel postage.
I’m only too happy to send the tracking number to my customers, so we can both know where they are. I scan all satchel parcels before I post them.
In some cases tracking is included in the item cost, but other items it’s a little extra cost.
YOU NEED TO ASK whether your items will be sent tracked or standard postage.
If your items fit in a standard envelope that will mean it’s not tracked, unless YOU have specified you want it, at time of purchase. (Use the ‘Contact us’ form on my website or send me a Facebook message.)
Once I post if it’s not tracked, I assume it’s going to be delivered by Australia Post to the correct address/person, but anyone could take a parcel out of a letterbox or off of a doorstep and then it’s gone.
Im sorry but I’m not responsible for lost parcels if they are sent by standard envelope post, Australia Post also only covers tracked postage.
In over 35 years of sending parcels I’ve not had any go missing, and even in the current global health crisis, while a parcel may take longer to get to you, they are being delivered, eventually. Some have taken 4 weeks when normally it would be less than a week.
I also give my buyers options for payment both on Facebook and my website.
Please understand that YOU choose the payment/postage options that you feel comfortable with and YOU make those decisions, not me.
I’m ok if you choose PayPal over bank deposit, or even Afterpay or one of the other options.
I don’t like fees (but who does?), but if you’d rather pay with PayPal or Afterpay, that’s fine.
I’m a small home business, I pride myself on my honesty and quality of my work. I always try to give my customers value for money and great customer service. In total, I have been in business for over 35 years, and in that time my customers have come back time and time again. It’s sincerely humbling as it means I’m doing it right.
So remember if you aren’t sure about something, please ask!
